As Operations manager since 2006 for a hospital cGMP (within a Biotech Park), I developed an extensive skill set in the areas of hospital IRB, FDA/IND, NIH Grant Submissions, Transplant Surgery Department Research reviews, reports , and updates for those regulatory bodies and presentations. I have performed the role of Research Program Manager -Clinical Research Manager-since 1994 and have been responsible for training all lab staff in specialized techniques unique to our cell transplantation process. One career milestone included preparing the human hepatocytes that were used in the first successful human liver hepatocyte transplant -in the world -in March 1992 at VCU Health System, Richmond, VA with Drs. Fisher and Strom.
