I initially started my professional career as an actor, performing full time and teaching as well. I've always loved performing, and the reason I love it is because of how you can make people feel. It’s always my goal as a performer to allow people to leave the theatre in a better place than when they walked in. There’s so much connection to be made in the theatre, and I’ve always enjoyed being a part of it all. I even founded a theatre company in college specifically focused on uplifting Black artists. When the pandemic hit, I lost all 4 jobs I was working (yes, at the same time) in the entertainment industry. That loss really made me reevaluate, and I decided I needed to go into a career that I knew wouldn't disappear, but would still allow me to connect with others in a deep and meaningful way. I feel so lucky that I’ve landed at Acclinate. Acclinate is an incredible company that’s revolutionizing the industry and placing the utmost importance on diversity, equity, and inclusion. I can’t wait to see all of what it’s store for me and the company as it continues to grow and thrive.
