Dhamodharan Ramasamy Email & Phone Number | As a Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate from 2014-2016 in the American University of Armenia (AUA), I had training in Epidemiology, Bio-Statistics, and soft wares such as SPSS, STATA, and Epi Info that helped to analyze data, and interpret the results. My experience during Training of Trainers (ToT) course in MPH enriched my professional presentation skills; creating visual aids, time management and cater to the scientific and non-scientific audience. I am trained to design, conduct, and evaluate health programs that focus on primary prevention (educational campaigns), and secondary prevention (screening campaigns) that will reduce the burden of public health threats. I volunteered a research work in AUA in which I conducted a secondary data analysis of demographic health variables of women empowerment in Armenia and presented the findings at an international conference (Empowerment of Girls and Women in Armenia) during April 2017. In 2012, I joined MD degree in Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) and to be graduated in May 2018. I did an oral presentation during international students’ conference and participated in many scientific events. As a physiotherapist from 2009-2011, I maintained a decent relationship with colleagues and patients, continuously updated my knowledge, and participated in certain events such as marathon on behalf of the hospital. My short-term career plan is to practice public health in governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGO). My long-term goal is to start evidence-based preventive oncology center (NGO) for the needy and deserving and reduce the burden of preventable cancers in a scientific and strategic way.
