I was responsible for the fitting of all the P02 outfit steelwork on OPV ship 4, HMS Tamar. I was formerly responsible for the fitting of lock out items, HVAC and accommodation cabins. Former Area manager on the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales in Rosyth dockyard. Responsible for the delivery of 62 compartments to handover inspection to the royal navy, dealing with every trade and function involved in the build to bring together as 'one team'. Former Fabrication and welding production Supervisor also on the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier project. I am a time served welder/fabricator with 20 years shipbuilding experience and have been involved in the L.S.D, type 45, QEC and OPV projects for BAE Systems and Babcock international, as well as the AOPS project for Irving Shipbuilding.
