In 2009 I set up AVA to explore the intersection of architecture, 3D software and sound, to allow ideas from one area to enhance another in pursuit of their connecting thread, the communication of ideas. Clients have included Epic Games, Damien Hirst, The Mill, Wired Magazine, White Cube, Studio Egret West, Coffey Architects, Tate Hindle Architects + Gagosian Gallery, FormArt + the V&A Museum Rundell Associates & Denizen Works. Ten years later the visual output had enjoyed considerable success which was an incredible journey. However,this came at the expense of the original vision of the company so in 2019 I launched a new project ... Void Complet is the musical artist identity conceived to develop the audio side of AVA and open up a new client base in the music industry. The aim was to foster a symbiotic relationship between the two entities. Void Complet acts as a musical magnet drawing attention to the visual work of AVA. At the same time this visual content enhances the music. To date I have released on many labels, been played by DJs such as Laurent Garnier and Tom Ravenscroft on BBC 6 Music, Rinse FM and NTS radio. I have also remixed artists including Kassian, Stats and Buran.
