Zoe Davis Email & Phone Number | I am currently working at the AMRC in Sheffield as a Senior Quality Engineer. I work within the Quality team and am responsible for investigating any areas of non conformity that arise on site as well as performing audits and witness tests. Issues can be varied and require anything from a simple action plan to a full report. Ensuring any actions put in place to mitigate incidents from arising again, as well as maintaining control periods, is all organised and tracked via the system I helped to implement, with improvements being made continually to its use within the QMS as a whole. I am also a trained Lead BSI internal (AS9100 aerospace) and laboratories (ISO17025) auditor and part of the core audit team, ensuring compliance throughout all our Quality systems. I make sure information is always available for reporting monthly and twice annually at our management review meetings. I am qualified in Prince2 at Practitioner level and am competent in areas of product delivery and project management as well. I also have my PCQI obtained by the Chartered Quality Institute. There is no typical day to day, and work can be varied and involves a lot of problem solving and talking to many different people across the business. I am looking to continually progress in my role and hope to progress through the Six Sigma belted grades, having obtained yellow belt in Oct 2022. I manage the Improvement Co-Ordinator and have two years of managerial experience within a small team. I am also an active member of the AMRC Mental Health Community Forum and help run events and attend meetings to assist with the overall impact of mental health on all members of staff, offering guidance and advice where needed as a Wellbeing Champion. In my spare time, I am an avid writer and illustrator and had my first novel published in 2007. I am full of ideas and creativity, and hope to one day get another novel published and introduce my work to a wider audience. I also like to read, crochet, and bake cakes. I am a member of Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey Club and represent the team at matches locally and internationally. On Sundays I attend a local strongwoman class and hope to compete at an amateur level in the near future.
