My career objective is to use nutrition to help people improve their dietary patterns, relationship with food and quality of life. My current research projects focus on evaluating the effect of diet quality and dietary components (including fatty acids, dairy, wheat, vegetables, and fruits) on cancer-related cognitive impairment in breast cancer patients. Primarily trained in nutritional science and biochemistry, I earned my master’s in nutritional science and am now a Ph.D. candidate and research fellow at the Ohio State University. As part of an interdisciplinary team, my skills span several areas, including protocol development, literature reviews, molecular biology techniques, data visualization, and data analysis. The OSU nutrition (OSUN) program has also allowed me to build excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. These skillsets make me a good teammate with high efficiency and effectiveness.
