My research predominantly involves modeling human multi-omics (somatic and germline DNA mutations, single-cell and bulk RNA, and plasma proteins) data to examine the causes and mechanisms underlying cardiovascular and renal diseases. I have developed particular interests and expertise in clonal hematopoiesis and its interactions with germline genetics and other omics. Recently, I have begun to explore the development of human omics-based instruments utilizing statistical and machine-learning approaches. Throughout my research, I actively collaborate with researchers with other expertise, expanding the breadth and depth of my work. My goal is to contribute to an improved understanding of the mechanisms of age-related diseases, particularly cardiovascular and renal diseases, and the development of potential therapeutic interventions using large-scale multi-omics data.
