Following the conclusion of my graduation in 2015, I began my career. Prior to then, I tried a variety of activities, like coaching, working out, and playing cricket (a story of another day) I first began studying medical coding and billing in 2015. After learning, I worked as a Junior Billing executive in Sequel Technologies for 3 years I joined PMTAC in 2018 as a Senior Billing Executive. Over the years, I've learned a lot, including how to communicate with providers and deal with front desk staff problems. I was also given responsibility for a practice with a variety of specialties. As part of my job, I regularly communicate with clients to ensure that business operations and billing go as planned. Due to my outstanding work ethic and track record of achievement, I was promoted to team lead operations in 2022 and assigned responsibility for 8 accounts with 8 distinct specializations and 14 team members. My job responsibilities grew, and I was now in charge of keeping track of the practice's health, comprehending the relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), and striving for success. My main responsibilities include making sure claims are submitted on time, checking eligibility, authorizing payments, handling denials, and forwarding the reports to the doctor's office. I was in charge of the monthly average practice collections. I left my job in December 2022 with a heavy heart because it is never easy to leave a place where you have learned a lot, but I had to make the move because I want to start offering medical billing services to clients on my own. Throughout this time, I had taken a number of courses, including one that led to HIPAA certification. Although it's still a startup for me, I now have three accounts from three different states: Texas, Virginia, and Massachusetts. However, I feel that with my excellent services and openness to my physicians and clients, I will be more successful going forward.
