Yes, I enjoy going to work, it all started during my job at sky zone Hagerstown. Sky zone promoted a great work culture. As a high schooler it provided benefits like free pizza a flexible work schedule and a clear path for advancement, all of which I found to be attractive. After working a couple weeks I became obsessed with customer service. This led me to me being promoted to lead court monitor. Although this is a large achievement to some, the achievement I am most proud of was my ability to create relationships with the guest that would last the years I resided at sky zone. During the pandemic I decided to work at Weis Markets in Boonsboro. Once again, I found myself looking forward to waking up and going to work every morning. Like at sky zone I decided to focus on customer service. Noticing my potential my manager started training to as an assistant manager within two months. During my time at Weis markets my department was able to win the weekly sales competition for the first time in store history. Soon after I also received a star for customer satisfaction. Working at Menard’s was a great opportunity for me to gain an understanding on how to become a salesperson. At Menard’s I found myself becoming taking a strong liking to selling showers. The best days where when I could spend my shift interacting with guest, gaining an understanding of their wants and needs: To help them chose a shower set that was a fit for them. My best experience with a guest was when she came back and thanked me for suggesting a different trim finish then what she would of traditionally went with. She was in love with the fact that there was no longer a need to wipe down her shower in order avoid water spots on the trim and that her bathroom always looked spectacular when she walked in. Overall, I like to think that I am a hard worker, obsessed with customer service and will strive to meet personal as well as company goals.
