Whether it is when I participated in a cross-cultural educational program in Stanford University in 1989 as a Keio University student or when I perform my role now everyday as a Markets Leader at PwC Japan, I always try to be honest, truthful and energised – both physically and mentally. I also enjoy sharing my views and thoughts widely to help others to learn – a series of “Career Business Studies” articles that I wrote on Nikkei newspaper is a good example. I am proud of having a role of the Markets leader at PwC Japan as well as in Asia Pacific & Americas. I am responsible for sales and marketing looking after priority customer program, priority services and inbound / outbound business. As a business consultant, my unique strength and value is my multi-national client experiences and the network of PwC’s professionals that I have had the pleasure to work with throughout my career, especially in the UK where I was on secondment from 2012 to 2015 leading our Japanese Business Network. One of my proudest achievement is when I led several Japanese and global companies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their management platform, implementing IT systems across its enterprise and building shared service center. As a result of these activities, these companies were able to spend less time on formerly labor-intensive processes such as gathering and compiling information and more on value-add analytic services. My relevant knowledge of business processes and technologies to quickly resolve issues and my project management skills were essential in making these changes happen.
