At Polarr, I conduct R&D of AI technologies relevant to photographing, photo editing, album management, etc. My experience includes: - Develop AI algorithms including object detection, semantic segmentation, face clustering, photo aesthetics ranking, smart cropping, machine-guided composition, photo moire-pattern removal, video night mode, filter and overlay recommendation etc. - Deploy cutting edge deep learning models to iOS/Android mobile platform using GPU based framework. - Focus on performance improvement of deep networks on mobile devices. - Lead the AI-development efforts regarding licensing computer vision technologies to enterprise customers (such as cellphone maker company), including analyzing customer needs, developing proof-of-concept demos, adjusting algorithms according to feedbacks, providing support all the way. - Lead the AI research team in Polarr, providing technical guidance and managing work expectations for the team members.
