His research interest in human factors and ergonomics, haptic interaction and design education. He has recently focused on how human factors and ergonomics applications can be used quickly and effectively in the design process. He has taught descriptive geometry courses for years in the industrial design undergraduate program and is now actively conducting human factors and ergonomics, project courses. Apart from his academic work and studies, he is the deputy head of department and the executive of the undergraduate curriculum as administrative affairs. Along with his professional career, he is interested in Argentine tango dance. He has made connections with industrial design and tango in terms of creativity and has been a dance instructor for years and has performed in various countries. He also won the first place in Turkey in the Argentine Tango Competition in 2009.
