The love I had for reading expanded to an adoration for writing, and I began to immerse myself in my craft during high school and college where I worked as an editor and writer for a number of publications. Often, my writing was centered around issues of social justice, as I discovered another love of mine: Humanity. I realized that I am deeply enamored by the human spirit and extremely passionate about uplifting marginalized communities by providing equal access to resources that ensure success, and my work has reflected that. From my work on publications dedicated to giving the disenfranchised a voice, to my involvement with non-profit organizations like the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement and the Latino Real Estate Investors Council, to my efforts in the corporate DEI landscape, I have channeled my passions for communication and humanity into almost everything I do. I truly believe that by practicing empathy, creating space for all, and taking action, we can radically change the global corporate landscape for the better, as well as the world at large. I will continue to engage in work that encompasses these passions and allows me to be a part of positive change in the world.
