International in Jordan as SEED project member to support the government of Jordan by joining JREEEF (Jordan Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Fund), under M&E specialist, which gave me the opportunity to work on the development of the institution by building up M&E system from scratch until issuing the annual report, under direct coaching from a Canadian M&E consultant appointed by SEED, which also gave me the opportunity to understand in depth the governmental procedures and to deal with them efficiently with respect to different administrative positions. Working on variant tasks starting from collecting data, analyzing and reporting to different ministers to help Jordan to achieve its environmental obligations, with a previous experience in several local engineering offices in Amman for seven years. I have successfully achieved my mission as an M&E leader at JREEEF, developing PMF model, monitoring and tracking of project results at output and outcome levels, ensuring proper data collection system, designing templates and tools, going backward to collect all previous data, leading data analysis, and developing a full reporting system, this exercise has contributed further to build a more nuanced strategic approach for JREEEF and to enrich my strategic planning skills, enhance my management skills, my knowledge, and experience. It was also an interesting experience working on JREEEF’s compliance with GCF Monitoring and Evaluation requirements that has met with key stakeholders from MEMR and JREEEF, this has contributed to further streamlining the M&E system, and aligning JREEEF’s objectives with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
