I have 20 years of work experience with employment at companies such as Cox Communications, AT&T, and Disney. I’ve been privileged to work in the field of Education for the last 12 years. I’ve taught students at all levels from Kindergarten to College Students to adult learners. I also have over 5 years of experience in Education Administration as a Lead Instructor and Program Chair and 10 years of experience as an Online Instructor. I’ve developed skills such as training and development of faculty and staff, curriculum development, strategic partnerships, recruitment and hiring, working with an department budget, development of e learning platforms and implementation, and education consulting. I am currently employed with Beijing Jiaotong University in Beijing China as an International Teacher. Living and working in China for the last 2 years has allowed me the unique opportunity to learn and share best practices in the field of education, engage in strategic development of classroom and e learning programs, recruitment training and development of international teachers, curriculum development and business consulting with the Bank of China as an ESL trainer and evaluator. I am currently in Houston Texas due to the current situation in China and around the world related to the pandemic. Due to the uncertainty of returning to China during this period, I must be proactive in ensuring a smooth transition back to America. My unique experience of living and working domestically and internationally is an invaluable asset to any forward thinking educational organization.
