William Langley is a Thirty years experience in various aspects of electrical engineering including: project management, construction, detailed electrical and instrumentation design, inspection, switchgear design, and power substations. OVERVIEW Oil and gas pipeline, gas plant and refinery experience in operations and construction. Electrical engineering includes development of load list, conduit and cable schedules, one lines, three lines, electrical motor schematics and wiring diagram, switchgear configuration, interconnection diagrams, equipment data sheets, grounding plans, control systems interface using DCS input and outputs, PLC and ladder logic programming, SIS integration, cable sizing voltage drop calculations, arc-flash design, short-circuit/load flow studies, protective device coordination per IEEE and hazardous area classification plans. All design work is in accordance with required safety standards and most current applicable codes: API, NFPA, ANSI, ABTECH, IEEE and NEMA. Specialties: Acknowledged for problem solving of difficult issues, assessing essential requirements for efficient designs, and meeting schedules and budgets. Recognized as a contributing team member, the ability to deal effectively with both internal and external customers, and work through to solutions that meet both company and customer requirements.
