William Furth Email & Phone Number | ABOUT ME I am an engineer who is obsessed with solving problems. Since I was a kid, I knew that I wanted to help solve the world's greatest problems and improve the lives of those around me. The field of aerospace has always been an interesting combination of theory and application for me, which is why I find myself in my junior year of aerospace engineering at NC State University. However, I've never been able to confine my attention to just one area at a time, which is why I'm also pursuing a minor in computer programming. I love to learn, and I will do whatever it takes to put myself in the best position possible to be a part of an organization that is doing work to help change the world for the better. When I look back on my life after my career has ended, I want to be able to say that I helped as many people in as many ways as I possibly could. EXPERIENCE -- Raytheon Guidance Navigation and Control Intern Created MATLAB tools to analyze aero vehicle to help improve fuel and tracking performance, assisted in embedded software code improvements. Skills used/Acquired: MATLAB, C++, Linux, PowerPoint -- NC State Engineering Camp Counselor Helped teach high school students fundamental engineering principles while given the responsibility of keeping them safe and having a good time during camp. Also helped plan and execute all camp activities. -- NC State University Physics Tutor Helping underclassmen students develop a better understanding of the fundamentals of both Newtonian and electromagnetic physics. -- Raytheon Tech Student Intern Shadowed in a lab setting while learning about radar, virtual machines, Linux and Windows, and other general server mechanics. SKILLS -- Java, MATLAB, Python, Solidworks, Linux, CMD, Microsoft Office -- Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Time Management In conclusion, I'm a hard working student who is looking for the chance to make an impact on the world.
