There were 20 guys living in my dorm and we were from many different countries and 4 different “Mother tongues” and multiple cultures. Throughout my life, and the 21 years I served as an officer/leader in the US Army, I have experienced, lived and worked in 46 different countries, and my cross-cultural communication skills have proven to be exceptionally valuable. In today’s global business environment, It doesn’t matter what business you are in, ultimately, you are in the people business and nurturing relationships builds the bridges that facilitate commerce.
