Wendy Hughes Email & Phone Number | I began my decorating career in sales during a 15-year stint in the retail furniture business. It was during this time that I gained my extensive knowledge of furniture and its proper placement. In addition, I also learned the importance and value of focusing on the needs of my customers. Next, I joined a small paint, wallpaper and window-covering store as a Design Consultant. This allowed me to expand my services beyond furniture. I particularly enjoyed getting to know my clients, working with them on their homes and advising them on how to make their decorating visions a reality. I wanted to expand my services and knowledge of decorating so I joined a decorating franchise. This enabled me to get my certification in decorating. It also gave me the confidence to handle any decorating project I found working for Wallauer’s Decorating Center gave me the support and resources to ultimately offer my clients everything they need to create comfortable, beautiful spaces. Starting my new position at TapeMeasure Design was exciting. My philosophy that decorating is all about the client, their style, their home, their budget. I have found though the years I have gained knowledge and experience with ever position I have taken. But my ultimate goal as a decorator is to make sure I satisfy my clients expectations. I am a member of the Certified Interior Decorators International (C.I.D) and the Paint & Decorating Retailer Association.
