Wallace Jennings Email & Phone Number | Wallace Jennings grew up on Tutuila, the principal island of American Samoa. His mother Hawaiian and his father Tokelauan/Samoan, has family roots that encompass three island chains. In 2006 after graduating from Leone High School he accepted a football scholarship to attend New Mexico State University and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture and Community Development in 2010. He began his career with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) as an earth team volunteer in 2001. In the summer of 2008, 2009, and 2010 he was selected as an intern for the USDA-NRCS completing 640 hours as a soil conservationist trainee. In January of 2011 he accepted a full time position as a Soil Conservationist with the USDA-NRCS at the The Dalles Service Center. He served as a Soil Conservationist from 2012 - 2016 at the Eugene Service Center. In 2011 - 2014 he was selected for a 20% collateral duty position as a member at large on the Oregon Civil Rights Committee (OCRC). In 2014 - 2017 he was selected for a 20% collateral duty position as the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Special Emphasis Program Manager on the OCRC. Wallace was selected as the president of the Asian Pacific Islander Organization from 2018- 2020. Wallace is the Executive Chef at Island Time Catering which was launched in the summer of 2016. He currently is a Resource Conservationist at the Tangent Service Center for the Central Coast and the Upper Willamette Counties of Oregon.
