Vivian is the HR business facing partner for the Customer Strategy, Insights & Innovation Division (CSII). The CSII Division drives the transformation of the Hong Kong Jockey Club to become a Customer Centric Organisation. The Division is the strategic think-tank of HKJC and is responsible for the holistic customer strategy, customer segmentation across the businesses, digital strategies, as well as building an Innovation Center to create new customer offerings. Vivian is a certified professional in Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), Hogan Assessments, Predictive Indicators (PI), HAY Job Evaluation as well as a certified trainer in ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ and ‘the 4 Roles of Leadership’. She was a Level 4 Accreditation Assessor (English Proficiency) in the HK Qualification Framework. Vivian has designed and launched various Functional Capability Frameworks for HKJC including that for HR, Retail, Telebet, Integrated Call Centre and Corporate Security. The frameworks not only consist of the competency model with calibrated levels of band descriptors, positive behavioural indicators by competences, competency assessment tools which support promotion assessments and hiring, the competency requirements plus the respective domain knowledge and skills by job profiles also enable effective job-profiling and stipulation of career ladders. Working in conjunction with the Business Performance Scorecards, employees know the job expectation better and can then work on their own development. The Retail Capability Framework enables the Department to win the Best Career Development Programme by Employee Experience Award 2023. The Telebet Capability Framework enables HKJC to win 2 HKMA awards in 2023 - Grand Award of Change Management (Professional Practice) and Award of Staff Development, Vivian also helped the Club sets up its first Management Trainee Programme. Vivian in her capacity of HR Business Partner has supported various new divisions /departments set-ups, their organisation design and total capabilities building, talent management and succession planning. Vivian has been the HR Business Partner for portfolios like, Customer & Internataional Business Development Division, Strategic Business Development Division, People & Organisation Development Division, IT Division, Security & Integrity Department, Beijing WFOE Company and Guangzhou Event Company, etc.
