Managed a team of up to 8 staff members. - Staff recruitment, supervising and coaching. - Development and standardisation of processes, procedures and systems in the Account Management and Creative Logistics Department. - Evaluating programme costs and analysing profitability versus expenses and client value for money. - Conducting site inspections with clients to showcase facilities, products and services in order to secure business. - Lead and manage Key accounts and liaise with clients from creative concept to implementation of onsite operational plan and delivery of the event to ensure clients were satisfied with all services provided. - Compile site inspection and post event feedback reports. - Prepare and control event budgets and ensure all contractual obligations are met. Reconcile all accounts following completion of event. - Negotiate supplier contracts where necessary. - Resolution of client and supplier issues as and when required. - Report to the Managing Director on a daily basis with regards to the day to day running of the Creative Logistics and Account Management departments.Responsible for the co-ordination and successful delivery of large scale conventions, meetings and events.Responsible for the co-ordination and successful delivery of conferences, events, meetings and weddings at the club and overseeing of the Functions Department.Top Gear Festival is a unique motoring festival held in identified key cities around the world. No other motoring event contains such an incredible and diverse line up of cars, celebrities, track and stadium activity or motoring experiences. Top Gear Festival Durban is the largest motoring event in Southern Africa. Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring Key Sponsors and Partners are looked after and all contractual obligations from both parties are met. Top Gear Festival works with global and large SA brands, it is essential they are managed whilst they are a partner of Top Gear Festival and re-sign for the following year. Contracts with Partners and Sponsors offer a variety of marketing and operational rights. The Account Manager is required to liaise with Partners & Sponsors and all relevant departments and members of the Top Gear Festival team to activate all areas and highlight any potential challenges before they become a problem.Key responsibilities: • To support the external communication efforts of the ICRC in Southern Africa • Supervise the Information Assistant • Develop contacts with local and foreign media • Write and compile weekly situation reports, monthly news bulletins, press releases and feature articles • Produce documentation for public distribution and process orders for print materials from outside suppliers; assist in producing radio, TV and film materials • Organise and maintain a reference system for the delegation, develop and maintain a media data base • Organise media briefings and dissemination workshops • Respond to information requests from the media and public.
