I consult on communicating climate change to children, & have invented EcoSleuth, a secondary teaching tool & the Environmental Warrior 5 week course. John & I have produced documentaries: Tilting at Treadmills (pilot about energy efficiency) & Skids (opinions of children 4 to 12 years on how they see the world). We are presently working on Living the Good Life video, exploring deep psycho-spiritual issues that influence action on climate change. In production management I worked with Ingram Young Productions on The Building of the Rialto, & John Murray on Malley film. In Sydney I was a regular reader on ABC Poetry with host Marius Webb, & was involved in Children's Radio with Producer/Director Don Pasco. For the past 7 years I have co-hosted/paneled a programme Living the Good Life (the sustainable living show), & produced a teen/young adult show called Your Planet Needs You for 3WBC 94.1 FM. In 1997, I was creative director of the First Woorilla Film Festival & have hosted & facilitated a hypothetical for the Swinburne Festival of Words. I have presented performance poetry at various events across Victoria. In 1983, I produced the Buy Australian Song Contest at the Sydney Opera House, which was the culmination of a press campaign run in association with Max Smith MLA Warringah in New South Wales Parliament. With husband John Benton, I founded the original Sydney Theatre Company, soon after administering the Globe Theatre Company at the Cremorne Orpheum for John Forgeham (ex Royal Shakespeare Company).
