Vishal Vashistha is a Extensive experience in the area of metamaterials/metasurfaces design at optical frequencies, a good understanding of diffractive optics theory for waveguide display devices, theory of scattering of the wave using the current multipole decomposition method, Fourier model method (FMM), and finite difference time domain(FDTD) simulation. I worked on prototype development of components for AR/VR display devices at Huawei Technologies. More than 5 years of experience working in cleanroom fabrication, optical setup measurement, and one year of experience with RF measurement for antenna design during my master's thesis. Core competencies include wide experience with the different simulators for light-matter interaction, wave scattering, and ray tracing. Simulation tools experience: Lumerical, Comsol Multiphysics, Zemax OpticStudio, MEEP finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) with MPI environment using Python, MATLAB, Latex. Experience in scientific proposal grant writing received two grants from the national science center, Poland during my Ph.D. and a wide experience of working in the international collaborative environment.
