An electrical engineer by training, I have always been chiefly interested in mathematical modeling, which lead to me to a post graduate degree in Computational Science and a PhD in soft matter modeling. I have specialized in particle based simulation of soft matter systems, spanning techniques like Brownian and Langevin Dynamics, Coarse Grained Molecular Dynamics, Lattice Boltzmann and Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics. My work rests on strong mathematical and physics fundamentals and a sound understanding of High Performance Computing. Recently I have acquired expertise in Comsol for corrosion modeling and also image processing methods like X ray micro CT reconstruction and advanced segmentation as applied to flow physics simulations in porous media. Overall, I am a highly motivated researcher with a broad range of experience in diverse industries spanning Chemical simulations and the energy sector.
