I am currently working on my master thesis where I investigate the effects of weather on the detection distance of camera traps (infrared triggered camera's to capture wildlife). As a hobby I like to search for and identify animal tracks. Last year I participated in an official evaluation of my tracking skills by an american cybertracker evaluator. http://www.cybertracker.org/tracking/evaluations I obtained a level 3 track & sign certificate as described on the website: "Track & Sign III Certificate The Track & Sign III candidate must be able to interpret the spoor of small to large animals and must have a very good knowledge of animal behaviour. To qualify for the Track & Sign III certificate the candidate must obtain 90% for the Track & Sign Interpretation evaluation for at least 35 signs. The candidate shall most likely not achieve this level without at least three years experience in the field."
