My experience spans from headsets, headphones and other audio accessories to mobile phones, high‐end loudspeakers (CEO, founder of Seiren Speakers) and professional safety gear communication devices (Savox Communications). I have always had a deep passion for music and audio quality. I joined Nokia as a Design Engineer right after graduation. My main responsibilities included audio design for wired and wireless headsets, headphones, loudspeakers and many other types of accessories. Aside from the actual product programs, I also led many technology studies. Year 2011 I joined Savox Communications as their first audio designer (Senior Design Engineer --> Audio Specialist --> Team Leader). They were expanding their group and needed a skillfull specialist to improve their product’s audio quality, design new products and build up the ecosystem for audio engineering. Product range of Savox was wide: Remote speaker‐microphones for radios and mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers and headsets with DSP, many different type of wired headsets and hearing protectors, skull and throat mics just to mention some. So, I have been on both sides of the table. At Nokia, we were the customer and made the specifications and made sure we got what we wanted. At Savox, we were the supplier for radio and phone manufacturers. They ordered and specified a product, we designed it from the scratch and manufactured it. Being also the CEO, co‐founder and Chief Designer of my own high‐end loudspeaker company Seiren Speakers, I have also economical knowledge about business. The speakers are designed by me, cabinets manufactured in China and cross‐over networks manufactured in Taiwan and assembly is done in Finland. 2014 was my career's highlight as I joined Apple as an Acoustics Design Engineer!
