Vance Berger Email & Phone Number | My research passion is all things related to the methodological rigor of randomized clinical trials, design and analysis. Though the areas I have worked in, even in conjunction, are far from an exhaustive enumeration of all my interests, they still provide ample opportunity to contribute towards the improvement of the manner in which clinical trials are conducted. These include methods of randomization, analyzes of multiple endpoints, analyzes of ordered categorical data, analyses of surrogate endpoints, and the handling of missing data. I am always looking for researchers in these areas, and related areas, who are looking to collaborate on research projects. But at the moment my attention has been focused almost exclusively on the relationships among randomization methods, allocation concealment, and selection bias. Aside from my research, I am also passionate about soccer and fitness, chess and other strategy games, healthy cooking and eating, and collecting coins. I run some adult co-ed soccer teams in DC and Maryland, and we are always looking for players, especially women.
