Through SHRM I have been able to develop many skills such as public speaking, team-work, leadership, organization, time management, problem solving, and so much more. I have also completed an HR internship at Avidity Biosciences where I got to apply my classroom knowledge of HR into a real-world setting. As an intern, I created an internal mentorship framework and learned about a variety of HR functions such as: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, employee relations, and data input.
