Since finishing a Master's in electrical engineering in 2006 I've worked for some of the largest companies within the embedded market-segments as well as for startups and service-based consultancy companies. In 2008 I took part in a pioneering effort within Texas Instruments to bring up Android on their OMAP3 based platform. Since then I've almost exclusively designed and implemented software for Android-based products, ranging from phones/tablets to set-top boxes. I've touched almost all core areas within the AOSP, including various ARM Linux kernel sources. In 2010 I founded my own part-time software company, primarily doing Android app and game development. I've released a few titles to Google Play for clients. After working several years as a full-stack Android developer on various OEM smart phones and a set-top box I joined Unwire as an Android app tech lead in 2014, helping build large quality apps and SDKs for their mobile banking and mobile ticketing customers. I joined Jayway in 2017 to focus on improving my skill sets within Android and the IoT domain, which continuously has been an interesting space for me. I'm a hard-working, constructive professional and I thrive under such working environments - I take pride in my work and enjoy challenges that extend my skillsets.
