I am a result-oriented material scientist and engineer with 4+ years of experience interested in developing devices which can positively impact human life. I have acquired knowledge and technical skills in interdisciplinary fields physics, material science and engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering and instrumentation. My communication and presentation skills are sharpened up by presenting diverse topics at symposiums and conferences (Awarded the best poster award at an international conference for a collaborative project with the German Aerospace center and won the 3rd place at an oral presentation at a student symposium held by University of Houston), and by teaching various undergraduate classes. I excel in management skills as demonstrated by conducting 6 projects which 3 are collaborated with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), RTI, United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) which require extensive planning and collaborations with people from different disciplines (Physicists, material scientists, chemists and mechanical engineers) at different levels (professors, postdocs and graduates) to maximize the productivity by managing resources efficiently and to deliver results within deadlines. I took leadership roles at the Science and engineering fairs, MARS Rover competitions, and Student Associations where I had the opportunity to contribute my knowledge and support outreach programs. I enjoy doing photography and travelling aside from work. I want to translate my knowledge, experience, technical skills, and transferable skills into applicable technological products to positively impact humans.
