  Trevor Stone is a I am an artist, educator, event producer and community builder. Collaborative Art Practice For the last 15 years I have maintained a primarily collaborative artistic practice. My artistic collaborations have been shown in national museums (Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago etc.), festivals and on television. Teacher I have taught to a variety of skill sets, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds and dis/abilities in many educational settings. This has helped me develop a highly adaptive set of communication skills allowing me to efficiently connect to and work with to a very wide range of people. I consistently receive extraordinary reviews on my classes and teaching methods. I have taught the following classes: Art History, Arts Integration, Art Studio Foundations, Performance Art, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Digital Photography, Advanced Digital Photography, Digital Video, 2D Design and Color, Abstraction, Stone Carving, Games as Interactive Performance and Mural Making. Exhibition and Event Production I have run or helped manage 3 exhibition spaces and have produced over 50 art exhibits, with a wide range of goals. Some were collaborative efforts and some necessitated managing others. Almost every exhibit united creative types from different disciplines including visual art, music, dance, poetry, fashion, martial arts, culinary arts, etc. Community Building and Partnership Development I have an innate skill for creating quick, solid, mutually beneficial partnerships between individuals, organizations and college departments. I have served as a trusted liaison for many organizations and have helped build their social networks (in person, not online.) I have the tact, patience and follow through necessary to successfully navigate institutional bureaucracy. The speed of my comedic banter and transparent sincerity has often transformed initially formal unions into more amicable connections.
