Serving diverse customers (drillers, consultants, contractors) I processed their orders and samples for environmental laboratory services. A critical and essential part of my job was to ensure that paperwork was correct and in order; especially the Chain of Custody (COC) documentation, as many of the requested analyses were for regulatory compliance. Frequently opened and/or closed office setting independently including cash balancing at day's end and bank deposits. Accomplishments I quickly and professionally learned a new field of service where I enjoyed interacting with the clientele to make them feel at ease in the optometrist office. I accomplished expertise in training patients to apply contact lens. My knowledge of eye health and care was expanded. Skills Used In this position I demonstrated computer skills, telephone communication skills, customer service and conflict resolution skills. I further developed my ability to work independently as well as my team approach skills.Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to the residents of the long term retirement home as well as the independent living residents. Clearing and resetting dining room tables, vacuuming, collecting linens to be cleaned, cleaning dishes and polishing utensils.
