Additionally, NeoMed was first to market a family of devices delivering on a mission to support clinician's ability to collect, store and administer HBM (Human Breast Milk) behind a closed system barrier. As clinical acceptance of NeoMed devices grew, the enteral device industry began to adopt NeoMed's design standards culminating in the new ENFIT ISO 80369-3 Enteral standard utilizing NeoMed's patented technologies. Included in ENFIt(R), NeoMed's Low Dose Syringe designs are now in use as the clinical and design standard utilized through all patient populations and clinical environments from the home to pharmacy to ICU's and beyond in domestic and international markets including Canada, EU, Australia and beyond. Tony holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics degree from John Carroll University and an MBA in Marketing from Xavier University. He began his career in the medical device industry over 30 years ago initially in surgical device sales before a tenure in cardiac device sales. In 1994, Mr. Lair founded a successful cardiac monitoring diagnostic company (MonitorMedx, Inc.) that was acquired in 1998 by CorSolutions Inc. The same year, Mr. Lair purchased Specialty Medical Products a well known regional Neonatal distribution company based in Atlanta Georgia before expanding into Neonatal product manufacturing with the founding of NeoMed Inc. in 2007. Tony resides in Milton, Georgia with his wife (Carey) and four children.
