He has previously led 60 Martin Place Sydney. Tony led the design excellence competition for this significant city shaping project and has led the project through to completion. Tony has been with HASSELL for 30 years. During that time he has held the positions of Head of Architecture Sydney, Sector Lead Aviation, and joint Head of Design - Architecture Internationally. He has been responsible for many major projects at HASSELL including The Qantas Domestic Terminal in Sydney; Darwin Waterfront Urban regeneration, and Christchurch International Terminal. He has led design in health, research and education projects and residential projects as well as Infrastructure, urban and rural regeneration and master planning. He is involved in driving future Workplace and its extension in the wider public realm. In 2011 he moved to London for 3 years to establish the two HASSELL Studios. Projects included: _The Bahrain Oncology Hospital in Bahrain _The Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital PFI _The International Quarter at London’s Olympic Park _Rio Tinto Global Headquarters at St James Square _the Wajbah Cultural Development in Qatar _Tbilisi Zoo Georgia _Cronton Colliery Regeneration Manchester _Battersea Power Station Workplace Design. _Cardiff Central Urban Development On his return to Sydney in 2014 he led the design for the successful 60 Martin Place Tower in Sydney. He has been a judge for the RAIA, SIA, RIBA (UK), Civic Trust (UK), WAF and WAN, and a Masters Studio Lead and visiting critic at UNSW Sydney. He has been published in 'On Office; WAN; Intelligent Life, Sustain, NLA Quarterly and Future Airports', on topics ranging from 'City Making, the 'Extended Workplace', and Modern Transport Design Specialties: Master Planning and Urban Design; Aviation; Health Research and Education; Commercial + Workplace; Residential SELECTED PROJECTS:
