My main career focus has been the subjective development of tyres for passenger vehicles. My experience encompasses many different sorts of vehicles; most transmission concepts; and from mass produced ones to bespoked / limited production supercars. I have well honed experience of OE tyre development processes, amongst other skills; inception of tyre target documentation in accordance with a Project Catalogue; intergration of Component Testing Planning with internal OE departments and tyre suppliers; handover of industrialised tyres to Production and the liason and support associated therewith. Due to my inquisitiveness I have picked up a solid understanding of other chassis components. Of particular interest to me are suspension kinematics and spring / damper tuning. Additionally I a deep understanding of the tyre/rim interface, the impact (aka "drop in performance") it has on driving dynamics, how to subjectively determine it and how to eliminate it.
