Prior to that, I spent over 15 years in law enforcement, holding progressively responsible roles leading and investigating high profile crimes, including pharmaceutical, diversion and fraud crimes in multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional environments. I was honored to numerous commendations; held a position as a Federal Task Force Officer; was the lead pharmaceutical case investigator, working with state and federal drug enforcement agencies; was a Master Sergeant supervising and leading a team of officers and finished public career as a Detective Sergeant. Congruent with the formation of drive in my early life, my success in law enforcement was largely due to my earlier career as a Registered pharmacist. A passionate advocate of the compliance community, I have been actively involved with several professional and industry organizations, including the Health Care Compliance Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the F.B.I.
