Timothy Wilson Email & Phone Number | I have been a classroom teacher since 2010. My current position is as the Mathematics Teacher for the Rochester City School District. I have taught all age groups from grades 7 to 12 at all levels, including college level Calculus. I feel rewarded in this career by the wonderful professional relationships I have fostered with colleagues through co-planning and co-creating curriculum as well as by my daily interactions with students. Prior to my teaching experience, I authored math curriculum for the BOCES Geneseo Migrant Center. This curriculum was developed to used by mostly Mexican migrant farm workers as they traveled between states and was aligned to the state standards of a dozen states. My professional experience in both roles includes leading professional development at the school level and also at a national Training-of-trainers conference. I pride myself both on my ability to create rich, engaging curriculum, as well as on my ability to collaborate.
