His deep legal, regulatory and operational understanding of title insurance and other settlement services has led to his participation in numerous transactions involving the formation, acquisition and/or license expansion of insurers, agencies, underwritten title companies, independent escrow companies and joint ventures across the country. Tim provides training to boards of directors, executive officers, legislators and regulators nationwide. He is a frequently invited speaker to insurance, service contract and financial industry groups and various trade associations on changing market conditions, enterprise risk and regulatory trends. He is an active member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the California Land Title Association (CLTA) and the Real Estate Service Providers Council (RESPRO).
