From my first business producing radio commercials to the marketing/advertising companies to my storage unit business, it has always been about doing what it takes to make my business and my client’s business more successful! Through the years, my personal philosophy has been to work hard, do what it takes, always put my client’s interests first, provide a top quality product and to continue my education so that I was in a better position to acquire the clients I wanted and to create success for them and myself. Space allows only for an overview of a successful, independent career of running the companies I have built: • A radio/voiceover production company in Des Moines, IA and Rapid City, SD • An advertising agency in Rapid City, SD • A radio station in Great Falls, MT • A corporate marketing communications company in Orange County, CA • Director of Marketing for a large Midwest credit union • A financial marketing communications company in Rapid City, SD • A hotel in Bozeman, MT • A storage unit facility in Black Hawk, SD I retired from marketing in 2010. However, I still own my storage business: Summerset Storage. In 2003, I purchased land in Black Hawk, SD and designed & constructed Summerset Storage. Over the years, I've added something of quality each year that made it a better facility. 2021 saw the development of 2.5 more acres and 3 new buildings. We now feature around 300 units. In 2011, I built a recording studio (The Pub) and pursued song writing and recording (around 150 songs so far). I was accepted into the South Dakota Songwriters Association.
