Certainly a gap that i have identified is in the assessing of interview planning, legal advisor briefings, the conduct of interviews and the development of interviewers. This has also been identified in various HMIC inspections. I am not sure if i want to return to work full time but after all these years i would like to take some part in the development of those conducting investigative interviews with both witnesses and suspects. I am now based in Somerset not too far from Weston Super Mare.
