I worked closely with applicant attorneys that practice workers compensation and personal injury law. I assisted a large number of law firms throughout Southern California in their efforts to subpoena and informally request records for their injured clients. I have extensive experience working with homeless populations in the Greater Los Angeles County area. Through various shelters and nonprofits, I have worked with (and lived among) many homeless families and assisted them in their goals and planning for success. I also helped plan and train individuals for the 2014 Pasadena Homeless Count. This involved counting the homeless of Pasadena for the purpose of gathering relevant data needed for developing and maintaining "Housing First" initiatives, as well as training homeless and formerly homeless individuals to advocate for themselves. I enjoy working with students, at-risk youth, as well as executing administrative duties in order to achieve goals. My career goals include advocacy for disadvantaged children and conducting research in order to design "evidence based" and "best practice" social programs with the purpose of empowerment.
