Tiffanie Strickland Email & Phone Number | I returned to Penn State for an Engineering degree after graduating with my first degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science in 2004. Although the naturalist position and veterinary technician job I held for roughly 10 years were both great learning experiences and something I could be proud of, I felt the need to do more. With an Engineering degree, specifically a Biological Engineering degree with a Polymer Science minor, I feel like I could do what I do best, problem solving! In today's fast paced, digital world, environmental concerns take a back seat to money and convenience and I'd like to see that change! Through my newly acquired engineering skills and knowledge of polymers, I'd love to make it easier for the 21st century family to go green. By helping companies become more efficient and providing them with possible green alternatives for both production and products, it will help decrease our environmental footprint on this planet. I look forward to diving into my last year which should be filled with even more engineering know how and gaining more knowledge through material science research on green adhesives
