In 2015, he received the Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Speech and Debate Association. The Journal of the American Forensics Association named Rollins as the “Outstanding College Debater of the Decade” of the ‘70s. He is married to law school classmate Victoria Radd Rollins. They live with their children Tom and Kay in McLean, Virginia.
