These skills help me interface with clients; building owners; architects and engineers; suppliers; tradesmen and local inspectors — and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, if not under budget, and to code. I’ve supervised up to 200 workers from direct reports to contractors. My Navy management experiences have taught me the importance of workplace safety. To that end I developed construction and safety training programs — and taught over 5,000 people — that have resulted in zero work-related injuries. I’ve repaired and maintained military ship piping systems including water, sewage, fuels, air, hydraulics and steam to 1200 psi at 1100 °F.
