Member of the Steering Committee of the Rwanda Land Use Master Plan and in full knowledge of national programmes and strategies aimed at community development, I play a leading role in my residential District in development aspects. I taught agriculture for 7 years since 1988. I have been working as a consultant in rural development and finally as a community conservation manager in Office Rwandais du Tourisme et des Parcs Nationaux (ORTPN) and Rwanda Development Board (RDB). Related to this duty, I was involved in community environment education and awareness, conservation-related conflicts resolution and community development in areas close to national parks bringing local communities to taking part to conservation activities. I have coordinated the Conservation Division since 2011 and ensured its standard in a transitional move, and am part time lecturer at Kabgayi Catholic Institute. I chair the “Association pour la Conservation de la Nature au Rwanda (ACNR)” and co-chair the “Association pour l’Education et le Développment Integré de Runda (AEDIR)”.
