Having always been interested in the world outside of the midwest where I grew up, my first teaching job was on the Navajo Reservation. I taught here for seven years, and then I went on to teach another nine years. While teaching middle school, I met my husband and moved to Edinburgh. I have been employed with Radical Travel for nine years. Through Radical Travel I have gained experience in: assisting the accounts department with data entry , testing software as changes were made to the reservation system, writing documentation to explain updates to the software, creating wireframes and diagrams, contributing to the company's green team to make our company more earth friendly, applying for travel awards for the company and winning in our catergory twice, and now taking on the responsiblities entailed in being a Channel Manager Sales Coordinator. My interests are in travelling, photography, and learning about different cultures. These interests are intertwined, so I am frequently able ot enjoy them all at the same time. I belong to an NGO with the mission statement of empowering women and girls around the world. I have been fortunate to be a member of the UN team which has enabled me to attend some conferences on behalf of the NGO.
