Apparently the datamodel I created for PCM600 is still in use! ● Having a management role in Visma Software for Nova ERP-solution and working for Rune Steinberg taught me how to modernize ways of working in R&D and how to build a team. ● Working as a development manager together with Anu Haapaniemi and Jan-Erik Lindfors in Vacon is usually the time that I mostly miss. It was so much fun. It was hard, but it was fun. ● When working for the Finnish Police together with Olli Lehtoranta, I had the frontrow seat to the public sector decision making processes, creating common architectures over dozens of applications and took an advanced course in vendor management. ● Now I've taken a step away from R&D and work in product management under the guidance of Hanna-Mari Kinnunen for Wilma School system. She is an ideal boss with high expectations and humane approach. In the end of the day, regardless of position and line of industry, I am a problem solver, a storyteller, confidence builder and a glue that bonds tech and business needs for improving something, somehow, somewhere and for someone. I am mentally a firefighter, who does not freeze, when the going gets tough. Funfact: I was once a blogger. tapiolantakamailla.com was a lifestyle blog about my outdoor activities.
