Tammy Coil Moore Email & Phone Number | A native of Colorado, Tammy began her life as a musical theater performer at the age of 7. Tammy focused on opera when she attended the Juilliard School of Music, receiving her Bachelor of Music and to The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where she received a Masters in Opera Performance. Throughout her studies, Tammy taught voice lessons privately as well as worked in childhood development, music publishing at G. Schirmer, artist management, and wellness. She has since established her own management company, Moore Artistic Management, managing composers, librettists, performers and educators as well as her own online yoga studio, My Diamond Yoga, as a certified 200hr yoga teacher. As a performer Tammy sang with top opera houses around the country including Santa Fe Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Opera Santa Barbara, Castleton Festival, The Chautauqua Institution, and Tanglewood, to name a few, and was the Regional finalist for the Met Competition. Tammy is thrilled to continue teaching in Westchester, and loves to use her skills as a yoga teacher to enhance musical learning whenever possible. Tammy enjoys an easy going and positive approach to music and teaching and loves to incorporate physicality, games, and many other unique ways of encouraging kids to have fun while learning music. She specializes in voice ( all styles,) and beginning music theory and piano, as well as drama preparation and study. Tammy´s enthusiastic and patient energy along with her bouquet of experience both as a performer, music/drama teacher, yoga instructor, and childhood care provider, make her a fountain bubbling with knowledge and expertise. She is continuing her 300 hr yoga teacher training and is a mom in Dobbs Ferry.
